NIU 12: The Show
It has been unusually warm this March in Illinois. This meant only good things when NIU returned to Ralph McKinizie Field Tuesday for the home opener against UIC.
It was good to back shooting baseball, my personal favorite sport. I know a lot of photographers that get bored with the game’s speed. A lot of fans for that matter too.
For me, it doesn’t really matter. I love the sport and the opportunity to shoot it makes things even better.
Staying for nine innings, lugging around three lenses is tough, but when it is 80 degrees in March I’d rather be doing than sitting inside.
A couple weeks until the Cubs open their season. Naturally won’t be shooting that but going. A few NIU games between now and then too. So this should be a fun Spring if this weather keeps up.
