Glad to have wrapped the first year of grad school. Also glad to have time away from writing papers to finally update this thing. Sorry, guys!
Anyways, instead of stacking posts of all the random stuff I ended up doing the final few weeks of school, I picked out a few of my favorites from the final few weeks.
The first few are from the NIU Tugs Championship, which is exactly what it looks like—a tug-of-war competition. Tugs is pretty big among the Greek community in DeKalb and typically draws a couple thousand for the entire tournament.
Personally, don’t really get the point of it.
Outside of that I covered a 5K race for the sports management program (and the Star). Nothing too interesting except for Victor E. Huskie running the entire race in full uniform.
Sounds like an adventure I’d be up for sometime. Shooting it the whole time as well, of course.
The last photo is just a shot from a tattoo shop in DeKalb. It was more of a scouting mission for what my summer photo project might be. We’ll see.
I’ll have some stuff this summer. Got a few projects in mind that I need to get going on. Happy summer, readers!
