comets falling

Finally got out to an event with the D300s. Reed-Custer basketball is a whole different animal than Wilmington football.

Case in point, they’re 4-12 on the season. Basketball wasn’t that difficult for me to shoot. Basically just follow the ball, check the post, and look for the emotion and intensity. Hard to find the last part when one coach hardly gets off the bench.

No matter it was fun shooting a different sport for a change. I took a few different angles: free-throw line and from the corner. I don’t like the angle from right behind the basket as much as these two spots.

The Comets lost this game 61-46 but I came away with  a lot of very usable shots.
